IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“IQ are filling a gap in the market for those of us who use the internet whilst travelling, quite intensely but infrequently. Unfortunately, their supplier EE has placed restrictions on roaming that IQ have so far been unable to get around. Nevertheless, they still provide a valuable service and my hope is that they will find the means to return to the flexibility of the past. Also of note is the rapid response to any queries.”

“I have had the same issue everytime l purchase a 100gb data top up. I have to constantly message them the following day to have my bundle activated. I get the same reply everytime(we activate the bucket each morning at 8:50) Yet by 10am the data is not activated. This needs to be sorted as it's a inconvenience to have to chase up activation.”
