IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021, we will be focused on innovating in the business mobile sector, adding Wifi Calling, 5G, Mobile Call Recording and other business class telephony features that the mobile world has long been looking for.

“Data options on IQ Go are quite good and better than most providers. The only disappointment for me is that generally I would think that 30Gb would be insufficient for one month but more often than not 100 Gb would be too much and much of it will be wasted. It would be better if the data lasted for more than one month. Prior to coming to IQ Go I had EE sim cards bought from Argos which were prepaid and had 120 GB pre-loaded which would last for up to 12 months. Proportionately these were much more expensive but what balanced that out to a certain extent was the length of time the data lasted for. Perhaps some other options may be considered by IQ in the future.”
