IQ Mobile is owned and operated by Peter Gradwell, a leading UK telecoms entrepreneur. His first business, Gradwell Communications, was founded in 1998 whilst at University in Aberystwyth and provides Cloud Telephony to over 20,000 UK small businesses.

In April 2020, Peter took over IQ Mobile, with a vision for a new type of mobile phone service that combines a high quality network, good value for money and a compelling offering that recognises the new more flexible, mobile way of working that so many of us are used too - but where we can also have a single phone device that respects our work/life balance.

It was probably the best until roaming was capped and they stopped paying cash back via top Cash Back . Unfortunately due to the major network EE stopping IQ s customers from roaming without being capped it now means IQ s service is nothing special .

I am very disappointed about the new "fair use policy" in the EU. I was reluctant to buy more data. I expect to be using IQ mobile much less in the future. I am looking for other options, either from IQ mobile or others.

It’s ok but could really do with an easier way to check data usage it seems very old fashioned compared to other mobile and data providers hopefully an app will be available before long to make it easier to use and clearer to understand. We need to know exactly how much data is being used from each top up purchased rather than monthly blocks of all data since the account opened which appears to be the case at the moment it’s not immediately clear how much data is left!

We bought the sim card on the understanding that we would have 100gig out in France. On the day we bought the data we were informed that we would only be allowed 25gig. Being away for a month, this was not enough for a months streaming, for which we bought it. This caused considerable inconvenience as we had to resort to the satellite, which can only be very iffy in the high winds we get these days. We did use it for a couple of days, out and back from France. I do feel defrauded. Surely the deal at the time of purchase of the sim should stand, new rules is no excuse, the deal on the date of purchase of "the system" should be honoured, and you should have stood up to pressure and made this so.

A customer for only 2 months. Customer service and comms has been excellent. Only disappointment has been the drastic change to EU roaming data which was the main reason we chose the company.
