“I purchased this dark brown coir matting online after finding what seemed to be good quality because of the higher price and apparent supply to the likes of the National Trust. The quality turned out to be way below other dark brown coir matting I had bought from a builders' merchant some distance away from where I live. The brown dye is superficial and the mat continuously sheds fibres that are only brown on the tips. If you want dark brown matting this stuff is rubbish. I shall have to bin and make the long journey to the builders' merchant after all.”
