“This is a sturdy, well-made brush. I recognized the quality of it as soon as I took it out of the box. It's heavier than a "big box store" brand and is solidly put together. I was looking for a brush that didn't add frizz to my hair, and this doesn't. My hair is incredibly thick, and the bristles reach all the way into my hair with each pass--most brushes don't. I don't have a problem with tangles normally, so I can't speak to that, but the rare tangles I do have were handled easily. I'm also noticing less hair loss IN the brush, so somehow, it's not pulling my hair out with each pass. Now, I'd been told that this brush was "for curly hair" and mine is stick straight. If you have straight hair and just need a brush to brush your hair, don't be put off by those who say this is only for the curly girls. It worked on my straight hair very well and I even used it twice with a low heat setting on my blow dryer to "bend my ends" and it worked superbly. So far, I am immensely pleased with this brush and I plan to order one for my daughter. These are the kinds of brushes that probably last a lifetime and that's what I was looking for.”

“I brushed my hair, felt a weird bending motion and think it hasn't worked the same since. I think something popped out of place. I was a little disappointed because I really was hoping this would help my curl definition. I would describe my hair as somewhat thick and curly.”
