Hello Michelle, thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear your new D82 brush was unsuitable for your needs. Our D82 finisher is designed to glide over the hair to add shine and polish the hair. Our D81 brush is similar in that it has natural bristle but also longer nylon pins which penetrate the hair to help with styling.
