About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

Bought one of the first sette 270 which after years of hard work finally gave up and destroyed itself . The new I must say is a big improvement . A lot quieter and grinds to a much finer grade without shims. My old machine with shims fitted would grind a 2 for espresso. The new one is set at 5 without shims fitted. A very good grinder

I bought the Sette 270 mainly as I'd had a Baratza Encore for some time and had been impressed. I passed this on to my son and needed a replacement. * Great Italian design and build quality to commercial standards * Environmentally brilliant - built for a long life and to be repairable, I replaced a couple of parts in my Encore over the years. * The Sette 270 is even better - fantastically consistent ground size with very few fines, great for French press, Aeropress and espresso

The coffee grinder grinds a good expresso however you do need to fit the shim sent with it. I like the facility to set a time for the dose.

It's so good! Very loud, but the grind is really consistent.

Very easy to set up and a big improvement over their Virtuoso Plus for espresso grinding. Brought out much more of the subtle flavours in a straight espresso from my De'Longhi with a better, more complex crema. I did go back to moka method to compare. There isn't one apart from 'chalk and cheese.' Little to no retention of grounds. Some say it's noisy - but not for long it's such a quick grind (I prefer single-shot grinds). Rated in many of the social media platforms, unsurprisingly.

Can only praise unstintingly. Well made and efficient. The lack of an inbuilt scale is no disadvantage, and this model is usefully cheaper as a result.

machine is fine but disappointed in customer service as one of the reasons I selected this seller is that previous reviewers said the seller provided complementary bag of beans which would have been nice. for my previous grinder that seller did provide a bag of beans. I guess everyone is cutting costs these days.

Hi There, Thank you for taking the time leave a review. We're glad to hear you are happy with your grinder. Unfortunately the complementary bag of coffee was a limited promotion we ran while stock lasted.
