About Coffee Hit Ltd:

I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

But if your like me you like to geek out a bit and we also have some really cool coffee brewing gear for my fellow coffee geeks.

We have the solutions for you to make great coffee at home or in the cafe.

Enjoy!

Perfect for espresso. The infinite grind adjustment means I can dial it in just right for that perfect, smooth shot. Has no trouble producing consistent, fluffy grind for single doses, which is handy because the only drawback is that this version (unlike the W and Wi) is based on time rather than weight. It's taller than your typical consumer "bin" grinder (like a Baratza Encore or De'Longhi KG79), but the actual counter-top footprint is near identical so I've not had to sacrifice space. Highly recommended.

I did a fair amount of research before purchasing a grinder and a lot of reviews pointed towards the Sette range. Personally I enjoy weighing out my beans before so for me the 270 was just fine for me. Owned it for a month so far and works as expected and producing great espresso.

Have been using the Baratza Sette 270 for a few weeks now and it is a great bit of kit. Really consisted, fluffly grinds and very low retention. Handles grinding for espresso and drip really well and with the low retention it's great if you swap between beans and brew methods. Would highly recommend! Great service also from Coffee Hit

I really like this grinder. From the off it was miles better than my previous grinder - a Gaggia Burr grinder, but not a particularly good one that had served me for 20 years. Anyway, 3 seconds grind does a single espresso in my Pavoni and tastes fantastic. Having 3 time settings is good. One for the base grind and .2 seconds if it needs a little more. And a longer setting for a double dose. It is noisy but really nothing to worry about for such a short grind. 5 star and brilliant so far. Very friendly and quick service from Coffee Hit. Recommended all round.

Arrived next day as promised. A bag of beans to get it dialled in and all good. A great upgrade from ailing MC2. A joy to use so far, very accurate adjustment in terms of dose time and grind. Produces amazing fluffy grounds. A bit messier than expected- the grounds just float away! Very happy so far
