I started Coffee Hit in 2008, when I was always buying cool coffee gear from USA and Australia as it was not availble in the UK. I wanted great coffee for my customers and at home!
I wanted to help cafes and people make great coffee at home. I wanted to show people it didnt need to be expensive and great coffee can be fun and simple.

“Very pleased with the grinder as it built to a very high standard and is attractive in design, the grinder is easy to adjust grind settings and produces a very uniform particle size for espresso to course grind for aeropress and cafetière.”

“Upgraded from a Porlex mini, no other point of comparison but the Comandante has been an excellent grinder so far. Consistent grind and easy to adjust grind size. Would highly recommend. It was sent with a wooden knob of a different model and Coffeehit were quick to respond and organise Comandante to post a replacement knob, which I'm told is on it's way.”

“It’s been great for espresso and coarser grinds. Easy to dial in and has a good weight and solid feel. Do the beans smell better with a hand grinder? I think so!”

“Feels great, grind settings are easy to change (the clicks work really well, and they hold.) Their website has some suggested settings for different brew methods, but as the grinders aren't calibrated, you need to dial it in. A few grinds later I had one of the best aeropresses I've ever made.”
