“This is an awesome machine. It’s my first stick vacuum, so I can’t compare it against others on the market. I do have a Dyson Ball Animal, which is a beast. In terms of suction and the ability to pull pet hair out of carpets, the Dyson has nothing over the Halo. The Halo is outstanding in that department. It’s easy to push and quick to go around with. I’ve been using it for two weeks over some very dirty floors, and I still haven’t changed the bag. I don’t know why all vacuums don’t have bags — bags are so hygienic compared to the bagless types and their notorious dust cloud! I’ve given the Halo 4 stars for a few reasons. First, it can’t pick up dried up peas, cornflakes, Cheerios, etc easily. Second, the brush gets clogged up with fur and hair, and it’s a pain to clean, as the brush doesn’t slip out like the Dyson does. Third, it’s not useful on stairs. It’s ok for a quick sweep on stairs, but you really need a flexible hose and a smaller turbo head to get the stairs done. No regrets at all. I love my Halo, and I’ll be the first in line when they release a new range of accessories :)”
