Removable pegs allow for localized off-loading of wounds and ulcerations of the foot. Pressure reduced by as much as 60% while allowing the patient to remain ambulatory. Ive been struggling with sesamoiditis. Needed the firm bottom but had to offload the pressure on the sessamoid. After trying a lot of different ways to achieve this, the PegAssist does it perfectly!! It helps without needing a customised orthotic. Very very clever. My only gripe... if you have bunions, you may need to use a scalpel to cut more on the inside. They could have factored that in
