Deramed Hallux Valgus Night Splint Features: The Hallux Valgus Night Splint is a plastic sling that holds the foot in the correct position during the night and help to soothe bunion pain by exerting pressure on the bunion, pulling the joint outwards and preventing a possible worsening of the problem. Traction must be carried out so that the correction of the deformity of the toe is visible. The corrector of the toe is acting effectively when the joint at the base of the big toe, on being pressed, experiences a slight pain. The Hallux Valgus Night Splint has night bindings that help to gradually correct any deviations in the toes, following the principle of preventative bindings (prolonged action but of slight intensity) through which an improvement is progressively achieved until the joint and the rest of the toe are corrected without damage. The joint must not be forced in such a way that the pain prevents one from resting properly. Sold as pair (right foot corrector and left foot corrector).
