“I already have a pair of these lovely boots in navy and find them stylish and so comfortable that I almost forget they’re there. So buying another pair was an easy decision. Rather than going for a pair in black, I opted for the ‘fern’ which I thought, from the illustration of a soft greenish-gold nubuck, would be something a little different. Which is exactly what they proved to be - so unrecognisably different from the colour illustrated that I was shocked. Foolishly, I thought the very dark, olive shade might grow on me and instead of returning, I kept them. It hasn’t and now it’s too late. The longer they sit in my cupboard, neglected and forlorn, the more I’ve hated them. I understand that in reality colours may vary in shade from photographs, but the colour of these boots is completely different. “I was a little worried about the fit of the boots, as I would have liked to have tried them on in ‘real time’. I needn’t have been concerned. They fit like a foot glove and are so very comfortable. I forget I have them on seconds after zipping them up. And the bonus is they look absolutely fabulous. Very happy.”
