“The tea cake boots are very comfortable and lovely but I was shocked to discover that my new pair (my second pair) isn't waterproof. I know it's been extremely wet: but I only went for a short walk to the local shops, and my feet were soaking wet when I got home. Boots that let water in so easily aren't really fit for purpose.”
“I received these boots for Christmas last year, so only wore them for one winter and went to wear them again now and noticed a hole in the heel. I took them to a well known chain of cobblers who attempted to fix them but found they are not repairable. They were a lovely purple colour with lovely lining and very comfortable so I’m disappointed, especially given how much they cost. Unfortunately they are not good value for money if they cannot be re-heeled.”
