“Really don’t like this product it leaves my skin sticky. I only bought because my usual serum was out of stock, wish I hadn’t. I wouldn’t recommend.”

Sometimes, this texture occurs when the serum is applied to damp skin or when it is layered with other products that don’t absorb well together. A tip is to apply a small amount onto dry skin and allow it to fully absorb before layering moisturiser or sunscreen. If the stickiness persists, it might be helpful to try it alongside a lighter moisturiser or use it less frequently to see if that improves the experience. “Lovely hydrating serum, I've been using this acid from a few other brands too...but alwasy return to Face Theory, as I've used their products since they began, some years now. I love the quality, the price and the science behind what they do, and the simplicity of the packaging...which is why I started using them back at the beginning. I use this underneath moisturisers, it sinks in like a dream and I particulalry like it after dermaplanning, a bath or a day in the sun. I've sensitive skin and it's not caused any issues.”
