“I'm writing another review as I mixed up which serum I was reviewing - it was the collagen-boosting one that I can't use on my perioral dermatitis, not this plumping serum. I can use this serum on my face with no irritation so I'm very happy with it. I use it as part of my night-time skincare routine for extra hydration boost & use it with the unscented peptide night cream. Together, both products leave my skin smooth & hydrated right through to the morning. It's still a bit on the sticky side but the cream evens it out.”

If the serum feels a bit sticky, you might try applying a thinner layer and giving it a moment to absorb before layering with your cream. “I really wanted to love this product as I like most of the Facetheory products I'm using but this serum is a massive disappointment. It's very hydrating & leaves my skin soft in the morning (I use it as part of my nighttime routine) but it leaves my neck really sticky for some reason, even after I've applied moisturiser on top. I have perioral dermatitis & something in this serum really stings & irritates my affected areas, especially when I have a flare up which is usually on a weekly basis, so I'll finish the bottle but I won't buy it again. I checked the ingredients before I bought it as it's so hard to find good products that are affordable & don't irritate my oversensitive skin so I'm really disappointed that this serum is another product to add to my list of no-nos!”
