“I had high hopes on this serum and was very disappointed. it leaves my skin looking dull and very oily, also I find it difficult to make it absorb properly. I was using a vitamin c serum from a different brand before and can’t believe how much worse my skin looks after starting this one.”

This formula is quite potent, and sometimes the skin needs a little time to adjust when switching from another vitamin C product. If you’re finding it oily or difficult to absorb, try applying a smaller amount to slightly damp skin before moisturiser, this can help it sink in better. Since your skin has become duller, it may also help to reduce usage to once daily or every other day at first. “Second attempt at posting this review. I bought this because the Glow C moisturiser wasn't moisturising enough for my skin. It ended up burning my lips and chin. I discontinued for two weeks and my skin healed. This morning I reapplied the serum and my lower face is swelling so badly that people are commenting on it. This is not for sensitive skin.”

Every skin type is different, and although many customers tolerate this product well, some with very sensitive skin may find higher concentrations of Vitamin C too strong.
