“I love this moisturiser and have been using it for years, so much so I’ve converted several of my friends onto facetheory because of it. I really appreciate that it’s remained the same price as well. I do really wish however you had kept the glass pots instead of switching to tubes. I realise to remain affordable you need to economise on things like packaging but I find the tubes lids get broken and gunky almost immediately, it’s so much harder to apply to right amount as if you squeeze too enthusiastically you can’t put it back in. As the consumer I’d much prefer you pass the cost on for keeping the glass as economically I would get through it slower! The glass pots are also so much easier to recycle, for mainstream recycling and very handy for around the house too. If you did a larger glass pot and charged a premium I would 100% throw my money at it (please!).”

“I wanted to like this product because of the ingredients and sunscreen Unfortunately, this product leave hard patches on my face. I’ve tried taking a break several times and going back to it. Every time I get the patches again within 24 hours of use. Same with the vitamin C serum.”

“I’ve been using this moisturiser for a while as it’s a great easy way to get in Vit C, Niacinamide and SPF in just one step. However I find that it pills and balls up on my skin :( not really sure what to do about this because I love the ingredients but can’t apply make up over it due to the pilling!”

We’re sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing pilling when applying the moisturiser. This can sometimes happen when layers of skincare or makeup don’t fully absorb before the next step, or if too much product is used at once. Here are a few tips that may help reduce or prevent pilling: - Apply to fresh, cleansed skin and allow any serums or treatments underneath to fully absorb before moisturiser. - Use a small amount (pea-sized) and gently smooth it over the skin, rather than rubbing or layering too thickly. - Allow a short pause (1–2 minutes) before applying makeup, so the moisturiser has time to settle. - Try pressing instead of rubbing when applying foundation, as this can avoid disrupting the SPF layer. “It doesn't leave any white cast. The texture is light and it'seasy to spread. It leaves my skin moisturised, but not oily (I have oily skin and I don't think the SPF worsens it). The scent is very subtle and pleasant (it smells like herbs and orange peels, which I love). I'm having a very good experience so far (:”
