“At first when I tried this I was really happy with the somewhat instant results. My skin tone seemed much more even. I used a small amount every night for the first few days - unfortunately by the end of the first week I was starting to notice a bit of a bad reaction. Red, burning skin that eventually began to peel. I emailed the help team and was told to give my skin a break as it’s a strong product. I stopped using for a bit over a week whilst my skin recovered and then used once more. I probably should be fine now to use this once or twice a week. My advice for other purchasers would be to try this once or twice a week and see how you react to it - rather than adding it to your daily routine straight away like I did. I probably would buy / swap for the 1.5% version in the future as this is simply too strong for my sensitive / combination skin. Obviously everyone is different this was just my experience :)”

“HOLY GRAIL PRODUCT. I nearly didn't see it through as I'm quite fussy as my skin reacts quickly but this is the best retinol on the market. Does not break me out. Calms like a pro! Soothing!”

“I do like these serums and they give a good first layer of moisturising. they are well-absorbed and feel really nourishing. I use argon oil on top and finish with the Face theory moisturiser. I love the Face theory range and have recommended it to people for it's qualities and purities.”
