“This does really work to brighten your overall complexion and even out dark marks. I have been using this for roughly 2 weeks now and previously was using the 2% version. It has helped with the overall complexion and i'm sure it will help fade my dark marks soon! Bengali dark skinned female - for referencd.”

“Warning. I had a noticeable improvement with my hyper-pigmentation & acne after using the 2% for a few weeks. After reading reviews I decided to try the 3%. This was a major difference for me. My skin totally freaked out. Red patches, lots of spots & hyper-pigmentation was worse than before. Facetheory responded to my email straight away & assured me this was normal & my skin would adjust. Three weeks later & my skin has finally calmed down but I have to say, the trauma was not worth it. I dont see much difference between this & the 2% & if I'd known my skin would freak out that way i would have stuck to the 2%. I had important jobs, first dates & photoshoots in that time, it was quite distressing. I understand that its different for everyone but I think people should know this is a possibility with a stronger retinoid product. Saying that, I am still a major fan of Facetheory & I'm recommending products to all of my friends.”
