“I don’t even know where to start…let’s say the product makes my face so orange I look like a carrot. I can’t even comment on the product’s effectiveness as I’m so ashamed to wear it around the house that I only use it sporadically. Definitely not recommended.”

That "carrot" effect isn't the glow we aim for, and we appreciate you letting us know so we can help. This can sometimes happen with retinal products due to temporary oxidation or pH adjustment on the skin, especially if applied too generously or without building tolerance. To get the best results. Use it 2–3 nights a week to start, then build up to nightly use. Apply a pea-sized amount to clean, dry skin. Always follow with SPF in the morning. “I'm on my 3rd bottle of this. I can't comment as to it's effectiveness. I've developed lines in the areas I've been using it. But it goes a longvway and maybe my skin would be worse if I hadn't used it”

“It's only been a few days of using it so I don't have any big "before vs after" but I can see it working. Facetheory works great for me (I used the retinol 3% prior switching to retinal) and I am really happy with the purschase :)”

Es freut uns sehr zu hören, dass sie fester Bestandteil Ihrer Abendroutine ist und Ihre Haut von der Anti-Aging-Wirkung profitiert, ohne gereizt zu werden. Die gelbliche Färbung ist völlig normal, sie stammt vom enthaltenen Retinal (einer Form von Vitamin A), das von Natur aus eine gelbe Tönung hat. In manchen Fällen kann diese sich leicht auf helle Textilien übertragen. Um Verfärbungen zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir, die Creme etwa 15–20 Minuten vor dem Schlafengehen aufzutragen, sodass sie vollständig in die Haut einziehen kann. “El producto deja la piel muy nutrida, suave y radiante. En mi caso, utilizo el retinol principalmente para prevenir la aparición de granitos y otras imperfecciones en la piel. Funciona estupendamente. Desde que utilizo el producto, he dejado de necesitar la base o la bb cream, la piel está estupenda. No me produce irritaciones, pero llevo utilizando retinol desde hace bastantes años.”

“I like facetheory , I used to adore it! But then then changed what wasn’t broken like getting rid of the glass jars and change everything to look the same when their main demographic are peri and post menopausal people and let me tell you we rely on what products look like so we don’t have to grab our magnifying glasses to do the one thing is supposed to destress us. You said this was supposed to be a change for the planet, then changed the caps to plastic ones to cut your costs even further completely losing credibility. Now everything looks like haemorrhoid cream, the beautiful packaging is gone. Anyway, retinal is meh, it stains everything and it pills like crazy. I still very much like and buy some of four other stuff like Azelaic acid, due to its high concentration and the aha and bha cleanser. I used to love the foundations, chiromask hand creams, blushes, face clothes etc But you are cutting costs to the bare minimum in order to keep the company out of administration which is understandable. I just wish you were more honest to your customers, that’s why you lost so many during the rebranding, because you were not honest about having to change things due to financial constraints. I think you would have found that a lot of people would have stayed.”
