“I typically love facetheory products but I found this oil cleanser to be really sticky and leave a thick film on my face. It didn't seem to emulsify properly to wash off, but it might be that it was reacting with the other products on my face to create a film. It didn't break me out, but I can't say how effective it was as a cleanser as I couldn't properly wash it off.”

Hi, Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that the product did not meet your expectations. Maybe you could try and amend the amount of oil you use and use warm water to dampen your skin and for washing it off. “I've used emulsifying oil cleansers before, so thought I'd try this. This is honestly the best. I'm so surprised by how much makeup it removes and using only a couple of pumps from the bottle. Less expensive than others I've tried, but better.”

“First time using a cleansing oil and all I have to say is that it’s a permanent part of my routine. From actually helping to improve my skin condition to acting as the first step in removing makeup. I extremely enjoy this product and don’t see it not being in my basket when I need to restock products.”
