“I bought 4 of this cleanser when I discovered facetheory are no longer going to sell it as I've got older with patches of dry on my face this cleanser was really good at not drying out my skin. However I was a little disappointed that I have received 4 bottles which don't have the pump like the previous bottle did they have a dropper which is always awkward and I wish Id kept the previous bottle. No I don't want to drop cleanser on my face the pump was ideal”

“Was looking forward to using this as I like all other Face Theory products so far. I don’t wear waterproof mascara and it still doesn’t remove the mascara. It also stings if any gets into my eyes. Prefer the cream cleansers.”

Our oil cleanser is designed as the first step in a double cleanse to gently remove makeup and impurities, ideally followed by a cream or foaming cleanser to ensure all residue is washed away. Regarding mascara removal, oil cleansers like ours can sometimes require a gentle warm, damp muslin cloth to effectively lift makeup, including mascara, without harsh rubbing. If you do not wear waterproof mascara, it might still take a second cleanse to fully remove eye makeup. We also recommend avoiding direct contact with eyes to prevent stinging, as the formula contains natural oils that can cause sensitivity if they enter the eyes. We appreciate your preference for cream cleansers and understand that different skin types and sensitivities respond better to different formulations. If you experience discomfort or stinging, it may be better to use a dedicated eye makeup remover or a cream cleanser around the eyes.
