“I bought this along with all the other products in the rosacea skincare routine. My skin has never felt this clean and soft before. Unfortunately it did not agree with my rosacea as my skin is very red still. I am giving 5 stars because this morning I wrote into the chat box to see if I should stop using any of the products or for advice on what to do. Gemma advised me to use an alternative face wash and told me to stop using one of the serums. She gave me the new face wash for free in place of this cleanser and refunded me for the serium. Honestly the best customer service I have experienced before and would highly recommend this company”

“I used to use and love the old recipe for the oil cleanser, it was my holy grail for my skin. It remove all my makeup, didn’t break me out and my skin felt healthy and moisturised. I naively stocked up recently and I didn’t realise they changed the ingredients. The new formula is horrible. When I wash my face my eyes burn. Naively I persisted a couple more days to see if my skin would adjust. It didn’t. I’ve spent the last week with fungal acne on my forehead, new mini Vesuvius’s on my face in places I’ve never had acne. Ever since I’ve stopped using it the fungal acne has almost disappeared and the spots are slowly going. I’m heartbroken facetheory have changed the ingredients on such a good product. Facetheory definitely have a beef to settle with my skin for this betrayal.”

Hi Francesca Sorry to hear this. In general a rinse-off product won't cause acne (if rinsed) however it sounds like you are sensitive to one of the ingredients. Contact us at help@facetheory.com and we'll arrange a refund or exchange. Sorry again. Jamie

“I really love the smell of this product and it feels so good soaking into my skin, stings if it gets in your eyes so wouldn't reccomend it for eye make up removal (although it does do that, just hurts a bit!)”

“Does the job. It is a bit thick however, and in my opinion you definitely need to double cleanse with this one.”

“This is a great oil cleanser - probably one of the best I’ve used. I would have given it five stars but I’m struggling with the aroma. I’m sure I’ll get used to it, but for now I’m avoiding using it first thing in the morning after too many lock down wines the night before.”
