“This is a game changer, I’ve been dealing with rosacea symptoms and painful cystic acne for the last year. In two weeks this has calmed my skin down and, although I still have active breakouts, spots are less painful and clear up faster now. Redness is also reduced. Beware of slight stinging/itching when you introduce it and go slow. You won’t regret adding this to your routine!”

“As someone in her mid forties still suffering from breakouts this serum has been such a blessing to me!! My bad skin has really affected my confidence over the years. Needless to say like many others here I have spent an absolute fortune on trying expensive lotions and potions that promised a miracle cure!! However I appreciate Everyone’s skin is unique and what works for one person doesn’t work for another. I don’t usually write reviews and have actually waited sometime before writing this one to make sure this serum is what’s making the difference to my skin. Yes I still get the odd spot but it doesn’t get as big and sore and goes away much quicker. The scaring on my face has also improved along with its general appearance. I love love love this product and along with the clarifying cleanser and supergel moisturiser I have found my skin care routine and will be sticking to it. “I bought this after looking for something to help with hyperpigmentation but didn't want to go for harsh treatments. I get a very slight tingle when I use this which I find a little uncomfortable but it's not unbearable. Aside from this I've seen massive improvement with the hyperpigmentation in such a short amount of time so I will definitely stick to it”

“I have rosacea and I feel like my skin has definitely decreased in redness over my checks and nose. With a reduction in pimples too. You only need a little bit of product for a good amount of coverage and my skin feels lovely after using it. I am allergic to lots of different products due to a tree nut allergy and atopic skin. I haven't had any issues with this, which to be honest is amazing.”

“This is truly a hero product! I'm in my 60's and have had rosacea for many years with pimples and redness on my T-zone. After using this for about 4 weeks constantly I decided to stop taking my daily dose of antibiotic (doxycycline - 5mg). No real outbreaks since then and no grainy feel like other azelaic acid products. Thank you Face Theory!”

“I am on my second bottle and I love it! I hope you will never stop making it as this product is wonderful! I have combination, dehydrated skin type prone yo breakouts. It is quite depressing to suffer from breakouts in your mid 30s. So 7 months ago I was impressed by reviews if an extremely expensive skincare brand and decided to give it a go. Big mistake. It made me breakout even more. I persisted and continued to use it as it cist me a huge amount of money. But my skin got really irritated, red, and breakouts just got a lot worse than before. So I stopped using everything and for a while had the most minimal and basic skincare routine. It was a long journey and I still suffered from a bit of redness and breakouts, but I was ready for new actives. I read that azelaic acid is really good, so started looking for good products that contained it. I came across Facetheory and loved the fact ghat it was 1) affordable 2)quite effective, based on reviews and 3)contained green tea and camomile, which I love in skincare. I decided to start slow and for 2 months I used it in the mornings only, every other day. Then I built it up and now I use it every day, but just in my morning routine. The product indeed is very effective. It is not greasy, so doesn't block my pores or break me out. It has no scent. It is does not sting at all (I read that this is possible). The results were not immediate for me, but eventually I did notice a big improvement. My redness is gone and it does really great job at healing my sking and keeping the breakouts at bay. I did not experience any dryness or discomfort at all. I really enjoy using this product and for the first time in over a year my skin is looking good. Jot perfect, but so much better! “Believe the hype - l bought this after reading Dr. Sam Bunting’s piece on the benefits of Azelaic Acid then seeing some before & after pics in a social media skincare group I belong to. After just one application my face felt smoother than l’ve ever known it and after 2 weeks of daily use, it’s done absolute wonders for my skin tone & texture which was quite uneven before. I will never be without this product!”
