“I am a 48 year old man that still struggles with acne, uneven skin texture and tone, and some hyperpigmentation spots. I recently bought this along with several other FaceTheory products. Spoiler alert: I AM IN LOVE! My new FaceTheory regimen has combined to really even out my skin and I have truly never looked better. Chief among their great products is this serum. It has a wonderful texture and feels great going on, with no odor or residual tackiness. I use it primarily after I shave my face, leaving it to soak in for several minutes (up to 20) before I add my toners, other serums, and moisturizers. Letting it absorb in seems to really help that Azelaic Acid do its work, getting down deep into my pores, with no irritation whatsoever. Highly recommend. I will certainly be buying this again.”

“I don't see a difference in my redness and the texture of the serum feels oily to me. It causes my other serums to pill because of how thick this serum is but it is also too thin to be a moisturizer. Not sure I would recommend this product.”

“This is a thin creamy solution that goes on smoothly. Does cause a slight tingle/itch after, but I understand that is to be expected when starting an Azelaic acid product. I feel it’s helped my skin, which I would describe as acne prone but not oily. I do wish the packaging would specify how many times per day (1 or 2) this is intended/formulated to be used. I use it once, but sometimes twice, per day with a thin layer over my whole face, despite the fact that the packaging says only apply to problem areas, which I feel might not be sufficient for me.”

“The list of ingredients is amazing !! I really wanted to like it, but it caused me redness (unfortunately). If you do not have sensitive skin I would recommend.”
