“After researching products to help with ance scarring, acne breakouts and dark spots I found this product that had azelaic acid. I’ve been using it for almost a month twice a day and I can feel and see my skin is much smoother, less bumps and redness. It seems like it may be working but it’s too early to tell. The bottle ran out quite quickly so I’m going to try the 15%. Fingers crossed this is the answer to all my acne problems!”

“Ich habe wirklich langsam angefangen, 1x die Woche, dann etwas später 2x die Woche, dann wieder nur 1x die Woche, mal mit Feuchtigkeitscreme davor, mal ohne. Meine Haut ist schlimmer geworden, ich habe deutlich mehr Rötungeb und kleine rote Pickel an den Wangen bekommen. Dermatologen Termin erst leider Ende Mai..”

Hallo Feyza, Vielen Dank für Ihr ehrliches Feedback zu unserem Blemicalm Azelaic Acid 10% Clarifying Serum. Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Ihre Haut empfindlich reagiert hat und mehr Rötungen sowie kleine Pickel aufgetreten sind. Azelainsäure kann bei manchen Hauttypen zu Beginn der Anwendung ein leichtes Kribbeln, Rötungen oder auch eine sogenannte „Erstverschlechterung“ (Purging) verursachen, besonders wenn die Haut empfindlich ist oder sich erst an den Wirkstoff gewöhnen muss. Wir empfehlen grundsätzlich, das Serum langsam einzuführen und die Anwendungshäufigkeit je nach Hautreaktion anzupassen – so wie Sie es bereits sehr vorsichtig gemacht haben. Bis zu Ihrem Termin empfehlen wir, die Haut mit milden, reizarmen Produkten zu pflegen, auf weitere aktive Wirkstoffe zu verzichten und einen guten Sonnenschutz zu verwenden, da Azelainsäure die Haut lichtempfindlicher machen kann. “The best find for enlarged pores. Works great as a makeup base — smooths out the skin and pores (mine are quite enlarged), and leaves the skin baby-soft. In the long run, it helps with breakouts and nourishes the skin (despite its lightweight texture). I definitely recommend it and will repurchase. Also suitable for those with sensitive skin (mine reacts to almost everything) — just don’t forget your SPF!”
