“Paid £41 for a voucher for over £80's worth of food, when we arrived and said it was a Wowcher deal, we were given the 'Wowcher' menu, which we were expecting, and then asked if we wanted water for the table, the menu choices were chosen and the food brought quickly, the minute steak came with unlimited frites, but we were never asked whether we wanted any more than the first portion given, the warm chicken salad wasn't warm and the chicken contained bits of gristle. The deserts were good though, then the bill came, the food cost was £39 (£2 less than I paid for the voucher) the water for the table was £5.90 and the service charge was added, so for the £80's worth of food for £41, it ended up costing an extra £10, and there was no mention that the water would be £5.90!”

“Lovely meal of French onion soup and steak frites with glass of red wine Service was a bit slow, but the restaurant was busy. Would return and try the a la carte menu.”

“Both son and wife , daughter and partner enjoyed the meals at this venue, more so as each had received the voucher as a Christmas present. What I wasn’t happy about was when my daughter and partner first went there, there was no credit on the voucher , even though it had been validated! Obviously the pair were embarrassed, but the member of staff was very professional and kind about what had happened and assured them both the voucher would be honoured . I had to make a complaint to yourselves Wowcher , about this matter as I didn’t want the same thing happening to my son and his wife . It was sorted out and my son and wife enjoyed their meal immensely.”

“I have already sent you a detrailed letter listing the CAR CRASH of a sat evening dinner pre booked with a i as usual booked with "Jo a i assisant , my guests were my 2 best freinds out of cancer care for a weekend , and my Daughter who like her late father is a "Michelin Chef . I am a regular always (lucky for me bringing freinds lunchtimes , the service NONE EXISTING , we waited one and a half hours , as rude pushy horrible waitress sulked as we did not order wine , I WAS THE DRIVER and we has an aperitife elcewhere before our 7 15 booking . we were sent to top floor GHASTLY . ive only ever been ist floor , "but hey? it was sat and running a resturant in lym hants 30 years? know how busy it can be . when the food FINALY did arrice (already I had informed waitress food in 10 mins ,or? we leave . my 2 cancer sufferers were desperatly hungry , I had lost my appitite , my daughter thought it realy amusing , as i had told all how great "Cote is . I think you may have lost me , as I was so embaressed by the entire grusome evening , my 2 guests ? loved their food , my daughter thought flavour good on her dish . I had compleatly lost my appitite and could not eat at all , so gave bits to the others , WE DID get a small discount on our bill . ( a party had arrived to celebrate a 21st event , mums aunts cousens etc they had waited silenly for 45 mins when we left . I do remember block knock your sox off weekends VERY WELL , BUT? if sat is your version of a pleasant evening with 2 clinging onto life , not allowed alcahol etc . "COTE I hope you are ashamed , you should be . no doubt you now have my letter .”

“Fabulous food (French onion soup would have like the bowl clean if no-one was watching) Steam Frites with unlimited fries - although not a huge plate totally satisfied without having to request extras. Plus a nice glass of red! Lovely ambience and friendly attentive staff, all at a great price.....100% enjoyable no complaints”
