“We went for Sunday lunch treating my Son who had never tried it ,I regained how good it was , Things have changed ,the Buffet has shrunk ,as have the Roast ,what last year was a huge slice of Sirloin was now two thin slices ,hardly filled us ,the Manageress realised and actually brought me another couple of slices , The Service was very good ,the Staff always are ,just very dissapoined with the Portions , we were looking at Afternoon Tea ,but reading the Reviews the same about the portions , But we shall see”

“My husband & I enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch. The starters were fresh & tasty. The time gap between starters nd main course was very good. Our mains were delicious and nicely cooked with the biggest Yorkshire puddings I've ever seen. The service we received was excellent. Planning to go again soon.”

“Plates were cold (as was the room) potatoes hard, not crunchy or tasty. Carrots & cabbage were greasy & not very hot.Beef ok, but quite tough & for some reason, a slice of sausage meat stuffing. Topped off by greasy lukewarm gravy, not great”
