“Absolutely perfect for a special occasion. We asked to bring a well behaved dog and they kindly gave us the choice of two lovely tables, either inside or in the pretty garden area. As the garden was well shaded, that's what we chose. The staff were super helpful and attentive. But not too much like some places. The food was fantastic. We opted for two vegetarian options, and two non, for our party of four. We had told them that it was a birthday celebration and they very kindly brought out another little treat. We all really enjoyed the experience and didn't feel rushed. It was a really lovely afternoon. Highly recommended.”

“We are regularly afternoon tea people and one of the place we love to go is du vin in York. The staff are wonderful the sandwiches are lovely not enough for me as I am not that keen on sweet stuff the scones are interested could do with not been cooked so hard”
