“Afternoon Tea is not as good as it used to be. They used to give you candy floss on sticks. I do not like that the cake and the sweet section are mostly in ramekins. Not worth the money even with a discount.”

“Lovely location, great food but service was slow and lacking in finesse. Staff were friendly, but we didn’t see that much of them. Had to ask a couple of times for a clean plates and drinks. Disappointing as not up to the high standard of previous visits”

“We had afternoon tea at your Tunbridge Wells hotel recently. We were pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very good and the sandwiches were much nicer than the finger sandwiches we expected. Crusty bread, croissant, small rolls, all fresh and lovely. The scones, although they didn't look like a scone, were delicious with strawberry jam and thick cream. We were not so keen on the dessert puddings, but by that time we were so full, it really didn't matter, although we would have preferred cake but that's just our personal choice. All served by a lovely waiter. We enjoyed it so much we are hoping to go back again very soon.”
