“We booked an afternoon tea for 2 for a birthday celebration and we not disappointed. Lovely surroundings, friendly, helpful staff and delicious food. Lovely fresh selection of savoury treats, warm fresh scones with jam and clotted cream and a delicious selection of desserts. Would highly recommend and would return.”

“The decor at the hotel is lovely and in a great location. We waited a while for the food but I think that’s because it was freshly prepared. It was imaginative, nicely presented and very tasty. Worth the money.”

“I went here the first time and everything was perfect — the food was tasty and the ambience was lovely. However, during my second visit, the experience was disappointing. The waiter seemed unfriendly and not very supportive. I tried to order before my friends arrived so we wouldn’t have to wait, but the waiter kept ignoring us. I really liked this place the first time, but the service during my second visit let it down.”

“Beautiful place and food was lovely. Staff were excellent, very attentive. My daughter and I had a wonderful afternoon tea. (If I was to change anything it would be to present the butter in a dish and not in foil wrapping. ) I also like two plates, one for savoury, one for sweet.”
