“Savoy Food was lovely, sweet stuff too sweet for me. Not real cream used and the cake was a tad stale! staff not so great, we didn’t get any side plate when eating the food and no one was around at the end we ended up just walking out.”

“Venue inside was lovely, outlook not so. Staff attentive and pleasant. Afternoon tea certainly different! Made a change from a conventional one. The savoury bits were great, sweet not so good. Scones were overrated and dry. Lolly had no taste whatsoever. Parkin dry, dessert in glass sloppy. Apple tart ok. Plenty of tea and prosecco good”

“Absolutely delightful afternoon tea . Makes change from the usual sandwiches and cakes . Very good variety of hot food and cakes . Will definitely be returning again . You won’t be disappointed”

“This was our 3rd visit to the Malmaison, Piccadilly in Manchester. The staff were lovely and efficient. My friend found a fork that was dirty and I had a knife that was. This hasn't happened before. We didn't find the cakes as nice as last time. The scones weren't very soft and the ginger cake was dry. I don't drink tea and coffee so I ordered a Coke 0 and I was charged £4 for it. We thought it should have been free because I didn't have any expens coffee or tea. I didn't have to pay at the Midland Hotel.”
