“Oh dear, the Waldorf, looking forward to this, a suprise for my wife, walked in to the restaurant & could not believe how different it looked from the pictures. It is in need of a good refurbish, looks gloomy, tired, etc. There were 20 foot long net curtains hanging on one side that looked like they hadn't been cleaned for ages, very old fashioned. This is owned by the Hilton group, they need to up their game, I suspect this is an offer because they can't get the custom into the restaurant, which is a shame as the food was very good, as were the staff, but the poor female waitresses were wearing the most unflattering dresses / uniform, It wasn't a good look, can't fault the value, this is central London, so £60 for a three course meal for two is excellent, just don't go into the bars, nearly £46 for two drinks ! we walked out of the bar.”
