“Absolutely fabulous afternoon tea, with an exceptional range of sandwiches and homemade Welsh pastries. The chef even came out to explain what we had, as I requested one vegetarian, with wholemeal bread. You will not the quality or value for money in any other establishments in Swansea. The service was also wonderful. Well done, we will be back.”

“The sparkling afternoon tea was simply delicious. There is a savoury tier, a sandwich tier and a sweet tier, along with a glass of prosecco and a cup of tea/coffee. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly. Although we were glad to be seated in the window, it was also in the bar area where there was football on, which ruined the ambience of the tea, perhaps a quieter spot at the back would have been better. The Welsh House is a lovely venue, but it sort of feels like it hasn't quite found its identity yet, like is it a bar, a restaurant, a gastro pub? But overall a brilliant afternoon tea”

“Rather disappointing! Our tea/coffee arrived after around 20 mins of waiting - by the time the food arrived 15 mins later tea/coffee was cold! The food itself was very tasty but the service took the edge off our experience - don't think we will go again”
