“Lovely hotel and grounds. The afternoon tea was really enjoyable but could have maybe had a few more sandwiches. Already booked again for next week to coincide with a visit to the gardens, weather permitting.”

“The cakes were really nice, the scones were good but the sandwiches a bit plain. The service was very poor, didn't have record of booking, mismatched crockery, and stained tea cup.”

“For a 4* hotel I was a little disappointed. Firstly, the only way to enter the hotel is across a gravel driveway, it was extremely hard to push my mother's wheelchair to the entrance. There I encountered closed double doors. I managed to prop them both open and get in, no help was offered by staff. A table was hastily prepared, the server brushed off most of the crumbs but didn't actually clean the table. When my coffee was served the server sprayed the contents of the coffee pot all over the table. The only reason I gave 3 stars was for the food, it was very enjoyable. Would not recommend to anyone in a wheelchair.”

“Had a lovely couple of hours in beautiful surroundings, eating tasty treats (especially the warm scones ) being served by warm and friendly staff My Mom thoroughly enjoyed her Birthday Would definitely recommend and my Mom will be back soon”
