“Hotel was an absolute joke. Took my voucher that was issued to me by reception for my free bottle of Prosecco to the bar only to be told that the hotel did not have any in stock. I was offered a cheap bottle of house Red wine instead of the Prosseco which the hotel claims is worth £30. I complained like he'll at the bar that I do not drink red wine and was offered a pint of beer or lager instead. This was a derisory insult to my intelligence. Complained to the Romanian receptionist at reception and she did not want to know. Over and above our room number 550 the room carpet was absolutely filthy with spillage stains all over it. It is a total disgrace that this room which is designed for disabled use is let out in such appaling state and condition. Furthermore, there was only three pillows on the bed with one missing. When a request was made at reception to the same Romanian receptionist for an additional pillow she did not want to know and we never received a fourth pillow. It is such a shame that Leonardo treats their disabled guest with such total disrespect and contempt. This is a total breach of my contract with Leonatdo hotels and will involve trading standards becoming involved.”

“Leonardo is a lovely clean, comfortable hotel with friendly staff. It is in a prime location right opposite M + S arena with great views of the wheel of Liverpool and Albert Dock. Great breakfast with good choices. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine finishes off the experience. This is our favourite hotel to visit when we are in Liverpool, and we will use again on our next visit.”
