“When you redeem your wowcher voucher you get a email with the product code and a link to a website, and you input your details and the product code onto that website. That website then send you a link with the instructions on how to activate the code and set up Microsoft Office. The steps were mostly easy to follow. The initial instillation took quite a while, then had to make a phone call to activate the code (this was all automated, you don’t actually speak to anyone and you can choose for the call to not be recorded or monitored so no humans involved) but I found that the instructions in the email weren’t super clear about the number I needed to call (it was the ‘freephone’ option and used all numbers including those in brackets) or the length of the instillation id that I had to provide on the call (it was 63 numbers long, split into 9 groups of 7 numbers). Overall it worked and wasn’t too bad, just wish the instructions were a tiny bit more clear in parts, but would definitely buy again if I got a new device as I now understand the process, definitely worth it for the product and the price!”
