“I've used my friends before which at the time I thought was good. But decided to get my own and chose this one solely based on reviews. The build quality and ease of use are amazing, also the extra reach compared to most loppers is useful. When fully extended you're still able to cut the branch thanks to the extra pull handle at the bottom of the arm. Great piece of kit, don't look anywhere else. You will be disappointed.”

“Great quality, had a fair amount of use trimming our olive tree and a hefty trim of a silver birch. Reach is impressive only slight criticism is that towards its limit of 32mm branch size it's difficult to make the cut (operating the pull mechanism that operates the blade single handed... which you have to as your other hand is supporting the shaft of the tool). TIP: wife held the StarCut in place and I operated the cutting mech ;-)”

“Excellent tool, gear in head top of the tool indeed helps in cutting! The cutting blades, hook for pulling branches, extending of the tool works very well. I was thinking tool would benefit to be 30-40 cm shorter as this would make it more comfortable to pull T string / lever on the bottom to cut. My impression was the tool was designed for a tall man with long arms. Saying so I was able to use the tool by being female.”
