“A very good long reach lopper which is well engineered. It’s very easy to extend from its minimum to maximum length and anywhere in between. The absence of an external cord brings the huge benefit of its not getting snagged amongst the branches. It cuts well when not stressed: it would not get anywhere near the quoted 32mm on my apple, and other, trees - more like 16mm necessitating the use of a long-reach pruning saw. A more minor point is that the width of the cutting jaw is on the small side. I see this tool as a very useful complement to other tree pruning tools – long reach lightweight pruner with external cord (easier when cutting the outside edge of trees where there will be no snagging), short extendable loppers, secateurs, saw which will take a long reach handle. For its easily extendable length, absence of snagging and quality of cut (when not stressed) I give it four stars.”
