“I can't comment objectively on the chair itself, as I have nothing to compare it to, but it appeared to be up to the job and was well designed and invaluable for my other half, who had a Pilon fracture of her right ankle. What I can comment on was what a pleasure it was to deal with Wheelfreedom: super helpful on the phone when I first contacted them and very fast delivery indeed. We ended up needing the chair for far longer than we initially anticipated, but their system meant that was no problem at all. When the time came to return it, their courier arrived next day (having phoned first) and was very friendly and helpful. The icing on the cake was a refund for unused time, which I was not expecting. I hope we never have to get a wheelchair again, but if we do, I know where it will be coming from.”

“When I broke my leg a week before my wedding day it was inevitable that I’d need a wheel chair . Wheelfreedom delivered the day I got out of hospital and although I didn’t need it everyday it meant that (with a willing pusher ) I got out and got fresh air and saw a bit of life ! It meant I wasn’t 8 weeks stuck at home . When I felt I could do with out the wheel chair , it was collected just when they said they’d collect.”

“I can’t put into words how grateful I was to discover Wheelfreedom at a time which was so upsetting and stressful. As soon as I spoke to Sue, she immediately understood what I needed and talked me through the suitable options and gave the very best advice. She was so kind and reassuring and the whole process was quick and simple. The ideal wheelchair, was delivered in less than 24 hours. Having needed it for several months, as soon as I called to say it was ready to go back, it was collected the very next day … another simple process. It seems rather rare to find companies nowadays that provide an excellent service but I can’t praise them enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending them and I will be eternally grateful to Sue and another man who I also spoke to but didn’t catch his name. Thank you so much.”

“The elevated leg rest was much needed for when my leg needed to be elevated but felt a bit uncomfortable while it wasn't raised.”

“The wheelchair was comfortable and easy to manoeuvre and fold up. However, despite having a leg in plaster which was non weight bearing I found it easier without the elevated leg rest .”
