This is the most beautiful tuba I have ever gotten to play. The sound is amazing. The details and quality are apparent in every part and every etched emblem. This instrument is heirloom quality. Its compact size allows me to play while up and moving around, and take it with me on trips without taking up too much space in the car. I cannot recommend this enough for anyone looking to own a quality and beautiful looking and sounding tuba.

I received it very quickly and it was in great condition. It takes a little adjusting to get used to. Mine had a slight air leak somewhere but it's not hard to play.

Plays very well and I am getting used to its intonation. Plays flat for me all slides pushed in, but love the dynamics and responsibveness. Great for gig work in small ensembles. Not sure how it would perform in an orchestra, but certainly works well for most Band work.

I would like to say that so far, I am enjoying the tuba. It is very lightweight! The sound is much brigher than my regular tuba, so I am getting used to that. I've played it in two different quintet concerts, and it seemed to blend nicely. Some of the listeners complemented the sound. I'm interested in hearing it in my town band's outdoor concerts. I'm hoping it will hold it's own.

I just received my tuba last week, so I am still getting used to it, but I really enjoy it so far! I'm just trying to get used to holding such a small tuba to get the best position for my embouchure. My old tuba has a strap, so I am trying to get a good fit. These are not problems, just things to figure out. I like the sound. Of course, it's not as deep as my old Walter Sear, but I can still get those low notes. I've never been able to stand comfortably and play (unless it's a sousaphone), so this is amazing! I'm very happy with it. Any tips on getting comfortable with holding it would be appreciated.

ESTOY MUY CONTENTO DE HABER OBTENIDO LA TB160. TIENE UN BUEN SONIDO A PESAR DE LO PEQUEÑA QUE ES Y ES MUY COMODA. LA RECOMIENDO.

I wanted a tuba for practice and small gigs, and this horn really fits the bill. Very happy with the quality, playability and even the surprisngly good mouthpiece. I was worred about such a small horn being "stuffy" to play, but it's fine, no problem at all in that regaurd. Highly recommend!

The Midget is such a useful tool to have at your disposal, it makes reaching for a Tuba to blow a few notes as easy as picking up a Trumpet if you are short of space - It can always be there ready to go with you.
