I bought this tuba a couple years ago and have enjoyed the weight and size, especially when traveling! The sound is great, and has a great range for such a small horn. It is not as loud as its big brothers, but not all bad for its size!

Received Might Midget very promptly (eve without expedited delivery), and was very pleased with thoughtful packaging and entire kitting. I was pleasantly surprised at how full and rich it can sound (I play/have fully size BBb Wessex Viverna 5V and vintage large bore BBb Besson compensating 3V), so I am partial to very rich warm timbre. Lower bass capability is very nice and upper range comes easy and not "tight". Looking forward to using it at local Tuba Christmas with my grandsons. Wessex quality was as good or better on what I received. Very satisfied with purhase!

Amazing! It has a solid, round sound that I wasn't expecting from such a small horn! It fits in my lap, the case is like a rolly suitcase, and most importantly, I CAN LIFT IT. I haven't been able to lift my own horn for years since being disabled and it's so incredible to be able to lift my own tuba. Thank you, Wessex Tubas!

I love this instrument, it is perfect for practising at home and for those gigs where you really don’t want to/have to lug a full sized BBb Tuba around and don’t mind sounding more like a contrabass trombone than a Tuba. I really don’t regret spending the money and have played it in a couple of brass and brass/wind ensembles and it fit in just fine.

The quality of this instrument is super, cannot find a single thing wrong with it. It really is an engineering marvel and is fun to play. The company delivered on every promise and the instrument arrived very well packaged. Love it, love it, love it.

Well pleased. The tuba arrived as promised, the box was a bit beat-up but the was fine. I bought it to supplement a Yamaha YBB621, which I've had for more than 30 years. The Wessex plays well, particularly in the low register. My only suggestion is to add some printed information - specifically regarding the maintenance of the rotary valves and tuning.
