“I bought the Wessex Dolce in March of 2025, and has been by far the best Euphonium I have ever played. They give you spare parts that may wear out (such as valve guides, valve key corks, springs) in order to make repair fast and easy. Unfortunately in December of 2025, my Euphonium developed a crack somewhere in the tubing (likely from shipping damage that worsened as time went on) and Wessex was immediately willing to help replace my euphonium, with the kindest and most understanding customer service. Definitely recommend any of Wessex's instruments!”

“This has a wonderful sound, the instrument is very well made. My only critique is that when taking out the first position valve (the valve where if you hold it down and you would play Eb, C, and Ab) it is hard to get it completely out due to how close the bell is the top of the valve when trying to pull it out, it makes it a little hard to oil it up. I have throughly enjoyed playing the euphonium again. For the price, the Dolce honestly can’t be beaten.”

“Well, I'm a beginner (albeit at 80!) but I was impressed with Wessex service. Delivery to Australia was very prompt and seamless. The packaging was exemplary and the Dolce looked beautiful nesled in its durable looking case. The extras were much appreciated and Leanne was helpful throughout the process. IAs I said, I'm a beginner having not blown brass (my first love) as a kid. it's been a clarinet since so I can't comment too much on the playability yet, but the tone sounds good and everything works well. I I am too old to fall for looks but I love my eupho already. Bill Comley”
