“This is our third purchase from Wave; we also have a Woody and Recon SUP. The kayak is great it inflates quickly (we did use an electric pump ;). The seats are easy to use and comfortable, with a useful zip pocket on the back. The paddles are great and quite lightweight. We are two adults on the shorter size so the 1-2 people kayak accommodated us well. We tried it out on the local canal and it was easy to get into. Folds up well and all goes in a useful carry bag. Looking forward to using this on the sea and other places. This was also really good quality compared to others available elsewhere for a similar price. The floor panel which inflated to 15psi makes all the difference.”

“Firstly, I bought this for my husband who tested my fully drop stitched kayak and instantly capsized - he needed some more stability but without all the squishiness of inflatables. The Explorer is perfect. It has a really rigid drop stitch base. The sides are standard inflatable but they are very solid and definitely not squishy. This was the 1-2 seater but still came with 2 seats, 2 paddles and 2 footrests and all very decent quality, as was the bag. Only downside….could do with some clearer instructions. Well done - a great buy.”

“The kayak is great - really easy to set up, excellent quality and easy to pack away (I didn't try to get everything in the bag, but it easily goes in the boot of the car). We saw a YouTube review saying it's too small for 2 people. I'm short (5'2"), so I sit in the front with my legs crossed. I'm not sure how comfortable this would be for long trips. So if you are 2 tall adults, I'd go for the 2-3 seater.”

“Hi my first time on water surprise me how that kayak is stabil amazing easy for drive but sometimes the paddle handle gets in the way a bit I think longer paddle will solve the problem but overall the kayak is great and worth recommending.”

“The kayak was recieved in rapid time. It was well packaged and the kayak seems robust and well designed. The maiden voyage was on the Kennet and Avon Canal West of Newbury. The Kayak was quick and easy to assemble and a pal and I had an enjoyable two hours in the sunshine. The kayak moved very nicely through the water in terms of direction and stability.”
