How It Works Rainwater flows from your downpipe into the included diverter and is directed into the storage tank for collection. The raised stand improves gravity flow, allowing easier access to the tap for filling watering cans or attaching a hose connector. The Rain Diverter Kit includes: 470mm of hose, all required connectors and washers and full fitting instructions. Please note: This is not suitable for cast iron downpipes. Installation Position the stand on firm, level ground near a compatible downpipe Place the water butt securely onto the stand Install the diverter into the downpipe as instructed Connect the diverter hose to the tank inlet Ensure the lid is secured before first rainfall Ensure the base is stable and capable of supporting the full tank weight when filled.
