This 250L Slimline Water Butt from Strata is perfect for smaller gardens due to its space-saving design. It's made from durable plastic and has a square shape which makes it easy to find a convenient space for it around your garden. Comes complete with tap, lid, stand and diverter meaning you will have everything needed to start recycling your rainwater and begin reducing your water bills! To maintain this waterbutt, we've got you covered! - All you'll need is one of our Microbial Discs or our Treatment Bottle just for waterbutts! The diverter fits standard 68mm round and 65mm square downpipes. This covers the majority of domestically used downpipes, including square. Please note, there are two templates at the top of the water butt on both sides that are not pre-drilled. You can drill these manually if you are wanting to install a diverter or linking kit. “Super water butt, bought two of them. Easy to assemble and attach to the downpipe. Would have given a 5 but only one trap arrived between them. They quickly offered to send a replacement (twice but neither has arrived 3 weeks later. That said there is an intermittent postal strike running!”

“The butt arrived safely but I found it to be exceedingly difficult to prise the lid off to get out the stand and other items packed inside it out. It needing levering off with a large screwdriver and I was hesitant to do this in case the butt itself got damaged. A lid that could be turned to be removed and turned to secure when being replaced would be a great improvement. Failing that an instruction to say the lid has to be levered off would be welcomed. The butt is now assembled on its stand and is in position. It looks good but having filled it from a hosepipe before the ban came into place I found that it leaks out water at the joint where the tap is inserted through the side of the butt. The tap fitment itself screws up tight and does not leak. I am catching the leaking water in a watering can by using a large funnel and am finding a can full leaks out in less than 24 hours. I find a leaking butt To be unsatisfactory.”

“Haven't had it long so it's not filling up yet as we've had no rain, thought it would have been easier to put into the downpipe, you have to cut the downpipe to assemble so you need a few tools including a hole saw to cut the inlet hole in the water butt it should have come with them already cut and a grommet to fill unused side hole. and the feet/ stand doesn't go together very firmly it's easy to move them and you have to start again.”
