“Good solid tank. If space is a premium, use the side outlet for the tap which also allows usage of all the water in the tank. The installation instructions are pictures only (no words) and are largely incomprehensible, but it's not rocket science. One thing to be aware of is that when the tank fills with water it does bulge an extra 10mm at the front and this means that the top is pulled down a little - the feed pipe that I fitted exactly horizontally now runs slightly downhill.”

“The tank itself is fine, but the tap is totally useless! Water gushes out too fast to direct into a watering can. I ordered same product last year and was sent a free replacement tap after I complained. However, when I ordered a second one this year I was told that this was the tap that the supplier sent, and I was free to purchase a different tap. I declined, and have since bought the same alternative tap at considerably cheaper price. My suggestion that you discuss the unsuitable tap with the supplier seems to have fallen on deaf ears.”

“I am totally disatisfied with Water Butts. Delivery was promised for 30 June, I did not hear anything from them by that date. I called and was told it should be there soon and they would call bacl - they did NOT call back. I called again and was told they would call back, again they did NOT call back. I received an email to say it was at a local depot and they would call me one hour before delivery which would be on 6 July (I having informed Water Butts by phone that delivery had to be before 7th July). I again called them and was eventually responded by email saying it would be delivered today would I would be called before delivery. In order to help I suggested they let me have a phone number so that I could discuss with the transport company and was informed that Water Butts do not know who is transporting the water tank (as it is up to Water Butts supplier and they, Water Butts, had no control over it) but I was informed by email it would be delivered today (6th July) . As of 1930 on 6th July I have heard nothing from either Water Butts or the 'transporters' I cannot recommend Water Butts for anything and am appalled by their lack of concern for customers.”
