With a generous capacity and great accessories, this 255L Metropolitan Water Butt with Planter in Sandstone is just what your garden needs. These water butts include a bowl moulded into the top for plants and you can plug the hole with a plastic bung to stop debris falling into it. Manufactured from virgin, fully recyclable polymer, this beautifully-designed water butt is completely frost-proof and the latest UV stabilisation technology means the colour does not fade, making it ideal for use all year round. “I love the look of this water butt, especially with the planter. It blends in well with the wall which is important as it is at the front of the house. The only slight issue I have is that the planter is moulded into the top rather than being removeable so there is no access to the main tank. This could cause problems when needing to clean the inside. The drainage hole in the planter is not large enough to fit a Freshatank Microbial Disc so will either need to break the disc in half lengthways or cut a larger hole in the bottom of the planter and buy a bigger drainage plug.”
