“Despite an issue with marks on the frame the overall product is fit for purpose. However now that the builder has finished it had become apparent to that three of the cover caps to the hinges are missing. Can these be acquired.”

Hi Alan, Thank you for taking the time to submit your review and we are sorry to hear of the issues. Having checked our records, we can see that we did previously discuss the marks with you and the issue was found to be caused by the frame box getting wet, and in turn, leaving water marks on the wooden outer frame. When you received the box, you signed the delivery note to confirm all the packaging was in good condition, however, after reviewing the photos you kindly provided, there was significantly large patches of water damage to the outer card packaging. The issue wasn’t reported to us until a week after delivery and after installation, so it left us very limited as to what resolution we could offer at this stage. We have a designated aftercare team who are available to offer assistance for any queries or further support and can be contacted directly by email: aftercare@vufold.co.uk or call 01625 442 899. We will pass this onto our aftercare team for you and they will be more than happy to check if we have a spare hinge end cap for you, however we are a little confused as to why you have requested three, your door set only requires one. “I was very pleased with the build quality of this product, the doors look great and were very easy to fit yourself. I shopped around and found cheaper products but these doors with the added bottom rail were far superior. Great product and would highly recommend”

“I was a little surprised that the oak vaneer is not on the door edges as it would be for a standard oak door from Howden which we have installed around our house, so marked you down for this reason and may not have purchased if I'd known this at the time. I'm just in the process of varnishing and not installed as of yet.”

Hi Stephen, Thank you for your 5-star review and we are pleased to hear you are happy with the operation of your doors. Having a bottom track does provide more stability, however it is not possible for our internal bifold doors without a track to be pulled off the top rail as the wheels run inside a lipped / enclosed track, apologies to hear you have had issues with a previous supplier.
