“The website was well organized very clear about what still needs to be done (payment flight information and insurance etc.). Pre departure contained every information needed sufficient knowledge delivered. I enjoyed my placement very much because I grew very fond of the kids. Sometime working days were exhausting. The highlight of my volunteering trip was children 's. Day at humayun's tomb as well as traveling through North India. The accommodation was fine. Meals were adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful tried to help whenever they could. I would recommend this organization to anyone. Thank you for the Wi-Fi. Thank you for an invaluable experience.”

“What areas did you like about our website? - Testimonials - Pictures - Pricing Any recommendations to improve the website More details on the placement How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? Excellent . The staff answered most of my questions. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes and No. Kids were awesome. Communication between volunteers and school teachers was kind of poor. Accommodation and meals Accommodation is awesome. Clean and Spacious. Meals were OK too. Coordinator Excellent . 10/10. Very helpful and approachable What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? The progress of the kids was great. Teaching them new concepts and seeing them respond with enjoyment and enthusiasm felt rewarding. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES Any comments and suggestions Increased communication between volunteers and the school should be implemented to increase goal congruence.”

“Being my tenth trip to India I was very much looking forward to the programme. I felt from the moment we arrived we were looked after very well. The Delhi team were attentive and most helpful. Dr Bobby and Armit in Palpampur again were attentive and most helpful. In our final week which was touring we were fortunate to have Parag with us for the week. His knowledge was brilliant and engagement with the 8 of us was excellent. He read the group extremely well arranging for Sema to be our guide in Jaipur. Such a lovely lady and her history and knowledge of Jaipur was fabulous. Loved both projects different in their own way. The experience was incredibly humbling and I am grateful to have been part of the experience. So important for us to see first hand just where the money is going. Highlights - probably too many to mention. Everyday was different and with it a more interesting experience. The overnight bus and the train journey whilst long I'm so very pleased to have done them.”

“It was a lovely program in a beautiful mountainous peaceful and friendly area which made the experience all the nicer! Program coordinators were helpful and the program was interesting and educational. I enjoyed working there and got many opportunities to learn more and experience a new way doing things. The highlights of my projects were location and scenery food medical experience the time to just relax.”

“What areas did you like about our website? The website is overall really useful. I liked the way the site was set up and found it helpful in deciding which country to visit and which program to attend. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? The booklet was very helpful and useful in my preparation for India. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes it was a great experience and I loved working with children. Accommodation and meals The accommodation was very comfortable and the family made everyone feel welcome. I really enjoyed the food both at the home and outside. Coordinator All the Volunteering Solutions staff were really friendly approachable and helpful. Thank You everyone. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? I enjoyed the whole experience and staying in India and working with the children. I have particularly liked the visits to the akshardham temple and The Taj Mahal. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes Definitely it was a brilliant experience.”

“How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? The Pre departure booklet is good. Answering of emails was great. A bit more info about the placements would be helpful. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? My placement was amazing and I will never forget the lovely kids in the placements. Accommodation and meals Accommodation has been great and everything needed is provided. The meals are lovely too but a change of dinner sometimes would be good as well. Coordinator and Staff Everyone at Volunteering Solutions has been very helpful and we have especially enjoyed the guidance of Yogen our programs coordinator. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Playing and sharing love with the children is the true highlight of the trip. The Jaipur trip was amazing too. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no Yes. Definitely it has been an experience I will never forget.”

“What areas did you like about our website? It was nice to read about past experiences and the videos. It was really easy to get to know the different programs and when we contacted them we got reply really fast. Any recommendations to improve the website None that I can come of. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? That was really helpful. It was nice to have a booklet to prepare ourselves. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? Yes the kids were just amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed the placement. Accommodation and meals It was just as expected I saw the videos on the web page. The food was delicious. Priya is an amazing cook. Coordinator The coordinators were excellent. We felt welcome and safe from the first minute and they have been helpful and available at all the time. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? Basically the whole experience. The trips and the kids the work we did. It was a nice experience. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES.”

“What areas did you like about our website? Volunteering Solutions has a wonderful website. Great information and lots of pictures. Everyone was very responsive when I had a question. How did you find the pre departure booklet given to you and the service of the staff in regards to answering your questions and helping you prepare? It was excellent and I carried a copy with me on my trip and would refer to it. Did you enjoy working at your project / placement? I was sad to leave on my last day. I grew fond of many of the children. I wished there had been a few more supplies to use. Accommodation and meals Wow ! Wonderful meals and accommodations. Very grateful for the air-conditioning. Coordinators and Staff All the staff were helpful courteous and easy to talk to. Thank you for all your support and guidance. It made this trip of a lifetime for me. What was the highlight of your volunteering experience and your trip? I enjoyed my experience at the center. It has opened my eyes to what real poverty looks like. The children were such a gift. They taught me so much about resilience and what you can do with a few things. The children were joyful and such a pleasure to be around. Would you recommend this program and our organization to others? yes/no YES ! I would like to go to Thailand next summer but only wish that the staff from New Delhi are there too ! Any comments and suggestions I loved all the weekend trips to Taj Mahal as well as Jaipur. Thank you for bringing us on the weekend trips. Every bit of the money I paid for the summer program was well worth it.”
